# Plans and Pricing

> Compare plans and see what each one includes

Each organization has one plan. The plan sets how many PostgreSQL services you can run, the resources they can use in total, and how long backups are kept.

## Compare plans

| | Hobby | Starter | Professional | Business | Enterprise |
| - | - | - | - | - | - |
| **Price (USD / month)** | \$5 | \$15 | \$29 | \$99 | Custom |
| **Price (NGN / month)** | ₦8,000 | ₦24,000 | ₦46,400 | ₦158,400 | Custom |
| **PostgreSQL services** | 1 | 3 | 10 | 30 | Unlimited |
| **CPU** | 0.25 vCPU | 1 vCPU | 2 vCPU | 4 vCPU | 32 vCPU |
| **Memory** | 512 MB | 1 GB | 4 GB | 10 GB | 128 GB |
| **Storage** | 1 GB | 10 GB | 50 GB | 200 GB | 2,000 GB |
| **Backup retention** | 7 days | 14 days | 30 days | 90 days | 365 days |
| **Point-in-time recovery** | | | Yes | Yes | Yes |
| **High availability** | Yes | Yes | Yes | Yes | Yes |
| **Support** | Community | Email | Priority | Phone | Dedicated |

CPU, memory and storage are totals for the whole organization, shared across its services. A service with standby replicas uses its resources once per replica.

Organizations with Nigeria as the billing country are billed in NGN through Paystack.

## Choose or change a plan

* **New account**: you're asked to choose a plan right after signing up. You can skip this and do it later.
* **New organization**: you choose a plan while creating it.
* **Existing organization**: go to **Billing** > **Subscription** and click **Change Plan**.

Plan changes are prorated for the rest of the billing cycle. See [Billing](/dashboard/billing#change-your-plan).

## When you reach a limit

When your organization runs out of service slots, CPU, memory or storage:

* The create wizard shows what's left and won't let you go past it.
* The **Usage** page shows which resource is close to its limit.

To get more room, upgrade your plan, or scale down or delete a service you no longer need.

## Keep costs under control

* Set a monthly spending cap with an alert threshold on the [Usage](/dashboard/usage#set-a-spending-cap) page.
* Delete services you no longer use. They are kept for 7 days in case you need them back.
* Right-size services from their **Settings** tab instead of over-provisioning up front. You can increase resources later.
